Back on August 8th, glitzylady posted a fan's tweet about Adam possibly appearing at NYC's Fresh 102.7's Fall Fresh Fest at Madison Square Garden on October 8th.  The post included the above graphic, as posted on Fresh 102.7's website, which was not up for long — it was inexplicably removed.

Fresh 102.7 finally made it official today....

This includes a little section on Adam with various links and, interestingly, this adorable pic of Adam taken from his Radio.com interview (which we posted on 24/7 previously):

Below is the new, official graphic for the concert:

Looks like a good time! This comes on the heels of the QAL tour in SA. I seem to have a QAL show penciled in for Jakarta on Saturday, October 10, too. Busy guy!

Hi Dee! So....the October 10th Q+AL date in Jakarta is, from all my research, a falsehood. I checked back to make sure whether or not we posted anything about a Jakarta gig in October 2015 -- we hadn't.

I then Google'd to find ONE article in a Jakarta newspaper that a Jakarta promoter, Variant Entertainment, announced in September 2014 that Q+AL would perform there approx a year later, in Oct. 2015. That's it, nothing further -- nothing on Variant's (not-so-very-good) website and, certainly, Queen has not announced this date on their site.

I did find, however, interestingly, that Variant promoted a Lenny Kravitz concert there for March 2015 -- which was cancelled. Suspicions raised!

Oh it would be nice for Q+AL to perform in some of the countries they couldn't get to and hopefully there will be more concerts in those places (as long as it works out with Adam's solo career). However, I can place a high bet that Oct. 10 in Jakarta is not a real date -- not to mention, with all the travel time involved and the fact that Indonesia is already hours ahead of the US in time zones, it could be a challenge for Adam to perform in NY on the 8th and then in Indonesia on the 10th. Imagine the jetlag and then having to perform a full concert! :)

But thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Would he be playing a full set? Rachael Platt only has the one song out. She wouldn't have enough material to do a whole set, so I thought maybe Adam would only do GT?? Just wondering.

Hi CeeJay: I'm only guessing here that since there are only three artists, as opposed to the usual half-dozen (or dozen) that they'll get varying set times based on their order of appearance. Although Rachel Platten only has one single, I believe she has an album out, so she'll probably do a few songs from that. I am going to guess she'll get like 20 minutes.

Adam, of course, could perform an entire two hours and still have lots and lots from his catalog left over, so there is no shortage of what he can include. I will bet that he will get, at mininum, 30 minutes, but hopefully more like 45mins. Unless the concert starts extra early, I'm going to assume they won't give him a full hour, but you never know (I hope so, though!).

And, then Duran Duran, who has a boatload of hits and is considered the "headliner" -- at least now that they pulled the original poster and put out a new one simply featuring Duran Duran's photo (ahem) -- I would imagine they'll probably play 90 minutes.

Interested to see how this will all work out but, in any case, Adam performing in NYC, at Madison Square Garden -- can't be beat!

The concert is in the Theater at Madison Square Garden, not Madison Square Garden. The theater only holds 2,000-5,600 for concerts depending on the set up. I am definitely going if I can get tickets!!

@Sparkle Girl: Thanks for the clarification -- I should actually know better, as I am originally from New York! But I left in 1985 and, at that time, the small theatre was known as The Felt Forum and was an extremely popular venue for smaller concerts. It was renamed The Paramount Theatre for most of the '90s, then finally The Theatre at Madison Square Garden, as it is today. I inadvertently overlooked in the piece where it said "The Theatre," instead just seeing the larger Madison Square Garden (cap=20,000) -- maybe wishful thinking! I do have to say that I'm glad Adam was able to perform there a few times already, initially with some (or just one?) local NYC radio station promo concerts, but most recently and notably with Q+AL. Thanks again for the correction! :)

I just heard the DJ on 102.7 in NY that there will be more guests in the lineup. They haven't said who they will be yet. That means less time for Adam! Ugh!

Thanks, Sparkle Girl. Oh, well, I guess my comments above to CeeJay as to how the concert will likely go are all for naught. We'll have to wait and see, I guess.

I'm thinking in terms of exposure for Adam, this is a win-win situation. I'd love to be able to go, but will have to see if its a definite sell out in which case if that happens early I cant go. But it's a great idea.
