Sir Ian is sure a big fan. Wonderful rendition of the "tribute" song. As I said earlier only Adam could make that jokey song gorgeous.

Adam is great in a TV Studio, Adam was huge when he played the arenas , and I hope he will give a memorable performance in Rio, in front of 100,000 people.
LOL, three "friends " of mine among the guests, Ian McKellan, Tom Hanks and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.

Rio de Janeiro, February, 26th, 2015 - Says Rock in Rio President and Founder Roberto Medina: “30 years ago, Queen performed in front of 250,000 people who fell in love with the band, and it became one of the most iconic moments of Rock in Rio. I am positive that the moments from 30 years ago will be rejuvenated and rejoiced with Queen + Adam Lambert, making it again a moment no one will ever forget."

What fun! Definitely worth staying up till 1:30 A,M, for........I will put the show on my worth watching list.......along with Stephen Colbert whose show starts in Sept., I think. Hopefully these show's producers and stars will see that Adam is as entertaining as a 'talker' as a 'singer'...

Audience reaction always seems favorable when he is announced. :-))

PS....I much prefer his LA wardrobe!

Great videos! Perfect performance of GT, of course. We would expect nothing less. The WATC parody was really funny, and Adam delivered with all the camp and humor it required. His little chat with James after that song was fun. LOVE LOVE LOVE Sir Ian McKellan. Always have. He's one of those men who gets sexier and more sumptuous with age.

JAK, you and I must be two peas in a pod. I am really looking forward to Stephen Colbert, too. He's so smart and witty. And yes, these big-time late night shows need to see that Adam is as entertaining as a talker as a singer. He needs more "sit-downs" on these shows. These little humorous bits like the WATC parody show that he can be funny and spontaneous with the best of them. He is a talk show gem, if only he gets the chance. Of course, WE all know how good he is. He just needs the exposure.

And I do think that Sir Ian wouldn't mind sitting in Adam's lap. Or vice versa.

This was a wonderful performance. Adam was excellent with the Corden 50 tribute, what a great sense of humor!, and this had to have been the best performance of GT yet -- I thought the fog was a wonderful touch, and the band not only looked excellent, they finally came across as if they were INTO the performance!

And then there's Adam's presence. He looked like a movie star! He looked so good, radiated CHARISMA -- he was just plain magical.

I actually like the actor James Wolk, he's very appealing, and enjoyed him on that series that was Robin Willams' last. But this show could totally have just been Sir Ian and Adam as guests -- can you imagine how EPIC that would have been? The producers of THE LATE SHOW should have watched Adam's interview with Alan Carr and they would have realized what they had in their hands with just James Corden, Sir Ian, and Adam. Missed opportunity.

But, no matter, it still was AMAZING, and so great for Adam, and he looked so happy!

Terrific post, glitzy! :)

I agree 100%, with all the above comments. What a great showman Adam is. I only wondered if they had to get permission from Queen, to use the music. Adam must have had that parody to get ready for a while, he didn't just learn it overnight, plus he has been quite busy doing his promos. Of course he had a couple of weeks off recently in CA, before he went to Miami. I think it's been quite a while since he has had to use a mike with a long cord, thought had gone by the wayside years ago.
Also loved his clothes, he must have gone to the sexy side of his closet, to get those out. :)

Just watched the entire show on my DVR. Adam was great! And Sir Ian definitely has a crush on him - ha! Did you notice, after Sir Ian told that story about the gorilla sitting in the man's la, that he said "Adam, if you want to know more about this story ..." Ha!Ha! What a wonderful show. I thoroughly enjoyed it, esp Adam (of course) AND Sir Ian, who was hilarious. Definitely a keeper.

His outfit definitely had that Jailhouse Rock Elvis thing going. Loved that collar turn-up moment.

Guys I know I have posted already about this parody and show but I can't help myself.....Gotta say it again....I was at the taping!!! Saw Adam live!!!! And Ian McKellan and James Corden!!! Sorry didn't know the 4th gentleman. It was an epic performance and there were some extra bits that were excluded from the live show for the broadcast show ( probably time restraints). For instance when Adam first came out from behind the curtains, the applause was thunderous and went on and on ( much longer than shown). Adam was a bit overwhelmed I think & he had to wait for the audience to calm down before he could deliver his first line. What a welcome he got. The WATC tribute was outstanding . What a thrill to see him belt it out being so close to him. Boy, did he look good....Whew.

The whole show, everyone, was great and I left thinking how lucky I was to have witnessed it in person.

As you can see, I'm still on cloud 9. :))))
Sorry for re-posting but just had to share my feelings:)

@ CT.....dont worry, we understand. Reading your comments I could feel your excitement and it brought a smile to my face, you lucky girl!

The other young man is an actor named James Wolk and he stars in a new TV show based on James Patterson's novel Zoo.
