Katie Fitzpatrick of the Manchester Evening News gives a 5-star review one of the most glowing ever! of the Manchester show.  Includes a gallery with some of the best quality photos, resolution-wise, I've ever seen of a Q+AL performance.

That's one fierce Adam; Mmm, Simon would say: 'I think you are theatrical.' That was his first critique to Adam, with a smatter of 'not current'. Looking back, Simon was spot-on in that Adam is theatrical but not so, the latter critique. Adam combined theatrical and current so well that you can't separate one from the other. That takes a huge amount of Sifu / mastery. In fact Adam has made some of the Queen songs three-dimensional rather than when sung by other Queen singers after Freddie; who sing them two-dimensional and so not as wholesome and emotional. Also, I love the way, Adam stresses on certain words/notes and then softer/gentler on others giving his singing this three-dimensional field...boils down to power, depth and voice to be able to present that.

Ok, I give up. I clicked on the link and it took me to the review homepage, but I couldn't figure out what to click on to get to the actual review. I clicked on all the logical places, but couldn't find the review. Help, someone.

Success! I clicked again on one of the exact same spots I clicked on before, but this time it worked. Duh. Great review, once again. Adam just keeps conquering the world, city by city. To fight it is futile.

@Dee R Gee -- sorry you had trouble -- lots of news sites are now using this weird "survey" you have to answer in order to get to the content. But there is always a "Skip Survey" button at bottom and that's all you have to press to get to the reviews. Glad you found it! :)

I'd like to see a flurry of great reviews in the US like he's getting in the UK. Maybe for his single or his album.

Amen, JAK - I truly hope so!
Wouldn't be the first time the Brits catch on to something truly special and then it peaks the USA's attention. This time it would be a bit more ironic... In that, it's one of our own.

However it happens I'm up for the journey... And this new era. Can hardly wait. :))

All these glowing reviews from the UK are almost too good to be true. I think Adam's increased confidence, sexiness, and swagger, which were already evident at NYE, are one reason for it, but additionally the UK must really appreciate this very "proper" way to finally celebrate their rock icons again. Can't wait to see how the rest of Europe catches on.

I'll say it again: That NYE show was so pivotal to getting great exposure for QAL. Lots of people watched that show without even seeking out Adam or Queen. They just tuned in to a NYE TV show. And there was QAL in all their glory! And people's jaws dropped. That's the magic of grabbing people when they're least expecting it. So thrilled about the reviews for these UK shows. There are now millions of converts to the Glamily.
