From The Telegraph (UK)

Dr. Brian May and Adam Lambert at the iHeartRadio Music Festival Las Vegas in Sept. 2013

"Who should sing the Bond theme for Spectre?" [New James Bond film]

"Queen and Adam Lambert
Lambert is no Freddie Mercury, but then the fact that he’s about 80 years younger than the surviving members of Queen seems to have given the veteran rock stars a real shot in the arm. They’re having a blast touring at the moment, and after the po-faced joyless rock nonsense of Chris Cornell and Jack White’s themes for Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace respectively, we could finally have some fun. Imagine: a rocky Tom Jones. Because that’s what we’re imagining, and that would be brilliant."

The Poll Results so far: Go to link below to read the article and vote!

To have them do the Bond theme would be amazing and probably the best ever!

I'm surprised Adele isn't on that list.

hell yeah. the song could be stellar. Hope this can become reality for Adam and Queen. Adele already done the last bond theme.

Two British icons (James Bond film and Queen) plus the outstanding voice of Adam - that would be a perfect combination!!!

Read somewhere that Sam Smith has been chosen to do the Bond theme but his people said that it's not yet confirmed.

Everyone says that Sam Smith is great, even Adam himself. I've tried and tried (maybe I'm trying too hard) but I just couldn't get into his music that much at all. I guess that shows that music is very personal and our likes and dislikes are just that - personal preferences.

Sam smith very well may get it . No nothing about him. He sure has not gotten many votes. Would it not be nice if they listen to what the public might want.
People should keep voting until we know for sure. You never know. Just keep voting for Queen and Adam for now please! Sue

The poll and article were just for fun but nice that Queen and Adam Lambert got some very cool recognition..

Sam Smith is a hot commodity right now so it would seem he would be a likely choice of the movie producers.

I think Sam Smith has an awesome voice and I love both of his singles. He sang on The Tonight Show last night. But of course, my first choice would be Adam -or else what kind of Glambert would I be???

Sam is also British and solo which fits with more of the previous choices.

A bunch of thorns for the Telegraph reporter....Adam is about 35 years younger than the Queen surviving members...not 80 years you pipsqueak!

OT: On the subject of Sam Smith his album was just nominated for Album of the year I believe; and he was one of the entertainers on the Grammy nomination show. Maybe If Adam had been born in the UK he would have more of an acceptance here.

I wish that Adam would be accepted there the way that Sam Smith is being accepted here!!

Such a shame that Adam is not being honored here like that! It has been five years and two fantastic albums!!

Congratulations to Sam though; he has a beautiful voice too.

But to me; there is no one better than Adam M. Lambert. Hope the future holds many awards and recognitions for the wonderful talented man!!

We can only vote once unless someone knows how to vote more than once?

8:17 pm, so much failed thinking in your comment. If you were correct then Adam should be a huge hit in the UK even if he isn't here. The truth is Adam is way bigger in the US than in the UK.

Being born in the UK has nothing to do with it. It has been nearly six years since Adam was on AI and huge advances have been made in the in acceptance of LGBT people in that time. Another difference is Sam doesn't have to fight the assumption many have that AI is a karaoke show. Sam also hasn't pulled a guy's face into his crotch and kissed a guy on TV. In fact Sam has changed his look to be more "mainstream." Sam has photos online showing a much different image until recently.

Another huge difference is the genre of music Sam sings, R&B not pop.

This meme of poor Adam isn't accepted as much in the US is just ridiculous. The complaining about it just looks like sour grapes.

There are many big stars that spent 10 or 15 years working at their craft before breaking through huge and worldwide. There are many many more incredibly talented people who never got the right break to do that.

I know Adam will be successful enough to have a career in the music industry. I'm just enjoying everything he does and leaving the rest up to Adam. No need to compare Adam to others or complain about who has bigger success.

You make some very sober and realistic points, I do not agree with all of them; but, emotionally I have to selfishly agree with the poster @8:17 PM.

Heaven forbid; Adam kissed a boy; grabbed a crotch! If he is still being judged for that, then there would be no women or men on TV.
Oh, I forgot, he is a Gay man, he needs to now act more like Mr. Smith to be accepted; even though that was about six years ago.

Ask radio and the television shows how much he is being accepted. I don't think anyone is saying "poor Adam", at least I didn't get that from reading the comment. I would say very rich Adam. Also, everyone is entitled to their own opinion; which will be many times different than yours. Also, Adam's fans don't need to be scolded because they may feel different than you do; js!

Have a nice day.

"Sam has changed his look to be more 'mainstream' ".... No wonder he's a success in US. He also just stands and sings, another requirement to be accepted by the US audience, no frills, no shenanigans. You can be gay, but don't look gay, act gay, talk gay, just blend in with the mainstream and everything is okay... Lol.

Every day thanking Universe for Adam Lambert!

The US has celebrities in all different fields of entertainment...gay celebrities...who are doing just fine.
Adam's fans need to accept that some people just don't care for Adam or his voice.

To quote one avid music collector and theater buff "Adam has a good voice, but I'm always waiting for him to screw up the end of a familiar song with his wailing frill that turns me off." Not everyone likes his improvising.

"...gay celebrities... who are doing just fine..." - not talking about neilpatrickharrises, nathanlanes etc who are typical examples of gays blending in and accepted by mainstream... and am not talking about people described in your quote, Adam is not for everybody, I get that. I'm talking about the big mainsteam masses, the ones that go "eww" when they hear the words Adam Lambert and gay and the ones that like his voice, but ask him to tone it down with the gay etc. etc. The ones that need to educate themselves, not be pampered by "mainstream blending in gays"!

Does that mean the big mainstream masses should change to accommodate Adam? That's not likely to happen.
