Adam Lambert mentioned: 'Al to Be Reduced to 1 Night, Ryan Seacrest Says on billboard.com!

Seacrest added that former Idols returning to the show to mentor would benefit the contestants. “Now that we’ve been on for such a long time, you’ve got mentors in these Idols and they come back with some real experience to talk about,” he said. Season-eight runner-up, Adam Lambert, for instance, was instrumental in offering expertise when he filled in for Urban during the auditions phase. “Adam stepped up when Keith couldn’t be there, and Adam did a great job,” said Seacrest.

Those were nice comments by Ryan Seacrest about Adam; and well deserved! Great recognition for Adam, can't wait to actually see the show in January!

I think Ryan is a Glambert. He promotes Adam whenever he can. Really great. In terms of radio play, well, we have learned how that one goes...

Of course, we know that Adam was the first Idol alum to ever be a mentor. He did it the year after his own year. Quite an honor, I think. And he did it again more recently with Chris Daughtry. And now he has served as a substitute judge. Looks like AI is cutting back on airtime this year. Is the end in sight?

One of the commenters on that link said that the only successful AI alums are Kelly and Carrie. I tried leaving a gently worded, non-cray reply saying that Adam has done very well also, thank you very much, and he has a large international following. But the site wouldn't take my username or email for some reason. Oh, well, just wanted to let it be know that Adam is a BIG AI success story.

Also, in reading the article, it says the show will be reduced to one night when they reach the Top 10... so sounds like still 2 nights per week up to that point??? Hoping Adam's 2 nights of judging the NYC auditions will be broadcast on... two nights.

And yes, I think Ryan is a big fan of Adam's... Anyone who has contact with Adam for more than about 5 seconds, in person just can't help but be!

glitzy, yes, it looks like they'll keep the two-day a week schedule until they get to the top ten. I sure hope Adam's judging will be on both his nights. There can never be too much Adam.

I tried my gmail account in the comment section. Didn't work. Thanks for the heads-up on the Disqus one. I might do that. I just get so frustrated when Adam is not mentioned in article about AI and its success stories.

I left a comment below the article and pimped Adam as the highly successful lead singer for Queen. I just wanted to make sure people who read the article are aware of it :) Thankfully, Idol and the finale with Queen got him where he is now.

It's fantastic Idol is reducing the show to 1 night starting with the Top 10 ... maybe trying to cut costs.

An interviewer asked KU did he think there would be stars this years . He said yes probably few. He said they do not have to win it either. We've had Idol has had real artist with real careers that have not won as well as won. He also said before that what he likes about Idol is its produced artist with real careers. They were not necessarily the winners either like Adam L and Chris D. Think he said that last year. He also told a contestant last year thanking Adam and Chris for mentoring how when it came to winning they got a no but just look what they did with it. He told one contestant that when they got eliminated.
I think people who say that about K and C are more country people or just fans if those people K country to especially since she married into it. Most likely just fans if them.
Adam is much more the international star than CU. the Queen association is really helping his exposure abroad. TV apwarances and concerts.
Hopefully with era three is star will rise here. No one deserves it more.
I am not much of a fan if JH but she won an AA and has her name on Hollywood walk of something. There been more that have lost than fine well than won.
e news had a piece on it a while back about reality shows loosers are the new winners. It was mostly about idol and showed Adam on it. Ill be off here a week or so having more medical problem have to go on get tests.
Take care of dear Adam although he done well taking care of Adam as well. Sorry for mistakes really tired! Sue

There it is again, Shosh says not to make these types of comments on a major publication and fans do it anyhow because they think they know better or think how they word it is exempt from what Shosh meant.

There was a nice compliment to Adam in the article. There was no need to go "educating" people in the comments. This is such embarrassing behavior.

@Anon 10:15 PM
There was no "educating", correcting or anything at all negative or over the top, in Gabi's very nice comment in the comments section of the article that I could see.. It was merely a compliment thanking Idol for giving Adam the opportunities that it did, in this case his association with the legendary rock group, Queen..

What could possibly be wrong with that?????

I seriously do not believe for a second that Shosh asked anyone NOT to even MENTION Adam's name in a comment section in an article.. I've seen what she's said.. It makes sense that fans don't "yell", rudely correct, etc., or otherwise complain about how the writer portrayed Adam in the article.. I certainly understand that. It can reflect poorly on him and give his fans a bad name..

Leaving a positive comment about him (and about Idol) certainly must be okay, don't you think???..

Are we to just simply remain silent about Adam from here on?

I don't think so.

DRG, wants to leave a comment too js.

It's rare that a Glambert can leave a comment that isn't over the top or rude or without a motive. We all have seen the types of comments that are usually left. That is the reason Shosh said what she did.

Getting a bit carried away with YOUR agenda, are we?!?

Rooting for your own favorite and giving your opinion in a civil manner anywhere where the issue fits (here Am Idol) is perfectly fine. No need to try and silence the whole fandom due to some OTT commenters. There are crays in every fandom. As there are trolls and other creatures trying to cause mayhem... js

I think it is a great idea to never let obvious crap stand; the crappers would just love that!

Who cares what Shosh says. Say what you want. We can defend Adam the best. We need to get the word out if media isn't going to do it or do it correctly.
