Whoa, Adam's theatre resume is rather impressive; no wonder he finally decided to leave when he didn't get the lead roles which he knew he was capable of handling; it would be boring to him.
Well Adam finally emerged from that deep dark tunnel, sort of, into the bright limelight. He got an individual role though, in Ten Commandments with excellent reviews.
Now Adam is not only out that tunnel, he's zooming into the sky lol! no, not like Superman, rather, handsome Phantom Adam. lol!

With all his theatre expertise and background...the audacity of people who censored him and cancelled his shows after his spectacular AMA performance. His vocals to me were excellent; I blame it on the sound mixing if it came off a bit raw and forced; but I read much later, based on other shows, that Adam's voice was difficult for the sound mixer to adjust due to his powerful high alto. Now if you listen to Adam on Queen...yes they know exactly what to do with Adam's voice. As the saying goes with regard the former: A bad workman quarrels with his tools. Conclusion: Adam's AMA performance was almost perfect even with some incidental ninja-roll thrown in.

Another reason, I read was, it was difficult for the sound system to track Adam's voice because he switches key from high to low pretty fast.

Also, please stop making askew judgements that Adam redeemed himself...there was nothing to redeem ! He said perhaps, it was too early, too fast and knowing Adam, always so respectful and empathetic, toned it down.

I have that program too! I had saved it just because I save those programs from shows I've attended. BUT, when I discovered Adam and realized that he was in the show I saw, I immediately dug it out and now have it with all my Adam memorabilia. I showed it to my granddaughters, who attended with me, and they too were excited about having the program with Adam in it. We are all Glamberts - ha!

I've seen Wicked twice, the National Tour, the first time before Adam was on Idol.. And love it!

I saw Adam in an interview a few years ago, here in Seattle, and he mentioned that he'd been here in Wicked with the National Tour, and even though he had left the tour at that point, he had filled in for someone for a few weeks.

I was SOOO excited because I thought "WHOA!!! I bet I saw Adam then!!" Well, I hunted all over the place and couldn't find the program from that show... Not too long ago it actually turned up.. and no Adam :((. Although, it may have been that Adam wasn't listed because he was a last minute fill in.. They usually have a separate print out of those who are appearing that night instead of the main actors. So oh well..... Was hoping to see his picture there!

How exciting to have this playbill & to have seen Adam in Wicked! I actually went to see Wicked in Charlotte to envision Adam playing the role of Fiyero, all the while wishing it were him on that stage! How sick & obsessed I am! Haha I still revisit the video of him in it on YT.
