Adam Lambert is a famous musician and an actor. He is mostly known for participating in the show, called “American Idol”. In 2009 Adam released his debut album entitled “For Your Entertainment”. The singles included in this album gained a lot of success all over the world. Another thing that has made Lambert famous was that he was not afraid to admit that he is gay. This gained a lot of public attention and even helped him to become more popular. During his career, Lambert has won many awards, some of which include a Chinese Music Award, MuchMusic Video Award, Teen Choice Award and many others.
So how rich is Adam Lambert? It has been estimated that Adam’s net worth is about $10 million and this sum might grow in the future as he continues his career.
Adam Mitchel Lambert, also known as simply Adam Lambert, was born in 1982, in Indiana. When Adam was just a little boy, he started to perform with the Metropolitan Educational Theatre network. After some time he also began attending voice training lessons. Adam has appeared in such plays as “Peter Pan”, “The Music Man”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and others. Adam continues to appear in many different plays and these have made Adam’s net worth grow.
In 2009 Lambert auditioned for “American Idol” and it was a great success. Adam was often praised by the judges and this gave him even more confidence as a musician. Although Adam did not win this show, he was one of the best performers there and received acclaim not only from judges but from other participants as well. After “American Idol” ended Lambert released his first album and it gained a lot of popularity. This of course added to Adam Lambert’s net worth. During the making of this album, Adam worked together with Lady Gaga, Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Justin Hawkins and others. As the album was very successful, Lambert then had opportunities to appear in such shows as “So You Think You Can Dance”, “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, “Late Show with David Letterman” and others.
In 2012 Lambert released his second album, entitled “Tresspassing”, which also gained a lot of success. He worked with such famous singers as Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams. In 2014 Adam announced that he would undertake a concert tour with Queen. This had a huge effect on the growth of Adam Lambert’s net worth.

I personally think it's rather tacky to announce, correct or not, a persons net financial worth.

I agree JAK .... and I don't think u can put a price on what he's worth to those of us who love him.

Adam is priceless!!!

Unless someone is privy to someone's bank account, possible trust funds, possible money left behind by Grandparents, etc. Also private events; it is possible that everything is not public.

Sorry to sound critical, but who wrote this article? If it's a professional writer, that's scary. Some parts were very repetitive.

I agree that it's tacky, not to mention tricky, to estimate someone's net worth. Not only would you need to know what someone has for the items Anon @1:51 pm mentioned, but wouldn't you need to know what someone has spent to come up with the net amount? How on earth would anyone besides Adam (or his accountant) know the answer to that??

A agree with anon 2:02pm. Who did write this article? IMO not written very well:(

It's not the general public's business about Adam's finances. From what we've read in earlier interviews/articles Adam is a good businessman and has a good head on his shoulders regarding finances. As long as Adam is happy and doing well enough for him to enjoy the lifestyle he desires, that's all I need to know.:)

I think they are making a guess from figuring out what he made with his tours, and including his home and his car. At least I read that somewhere. Because he has been singing Adam has come a long way financially with Queen, and then winning the award with Queen, there has been a renewed interest in Adam. I can guess that at the award show the other night, most of the other bands had never heard of him, they have such filled lives themselves, I heard one of the other band members say that. Of course they all know Queen, but they don't usually have time to hear other bands. Even if they had heard of Queens new front man, they more than likely haven't heard him sing. So I think there is a renewed interest in this new man, especially since he is so young.
Every so often Forbes does a run down of peoples net worth just from contestants who were on American Idol. Even though "The Voice" is at the moment a more popular show, they don't seem to have turned out any big stars. Adam has come a long way financially since AI, where he had very little money, just enough to pay his rent and exist.
I sure hope he is being advised to invest his money, money comes and goes so easily in show business. I am so proud of what Adam has accomplished so far, and he is only 32.

I don't care what his net worth is. I just hope he's making a ton of $$$. He deserves every cent! I want him to have enough to follow his dreams and do whatever he wants in his own terms. Love the man!!

Adam is doing what he wants and when he wants it. It's not our business how much money he has, possibly the IRS is interested. He is living his dream, he bought an expensive home, he buys expensive cars, buys expensive clothes and goes to expensive clubs. It's his dream and he is living it. He is also living his dream job. He is one lucky man.

I don't think a fan award from some UK magazine just two days ago has created a "renewed interest" in Adam.

Anon, I didn't expect you to agree with anything I said. I am surprised you only picked on one thing. Actually I think the renewed interest is mostly because he is Queens front man. The award is also an honor and not to belittle.

@Anon 5:33pm....

Due to the awards show and Adam being a recipients of one of the "coveted" awards featured at the event (fan generated results or not... by it's very nature, the award translates the marketability and popularity of the live collaborative band of Q+AL... in addition to the undeniable $$$ earned for the artists - hence, some of the covetous nature to the award), Adam has appeared in certain publications in which he hasn't appeared for quite a while. He has also been covered anew by certain journalists, and has been re-exposed to a growing fan base among Queen fans and classic rock aficionados, alike. Not to mention - AI fans who haven't necessarily kept track of Adam's career closely through the years, have responded with refreshed enthusiasms to this recent Classic Rock accolade given to Adam (& Queen). It appears that a bit of a fire storm has taken sparked after Adam's win and this event.

All that translates on to the validity of Anne Marie's comment about a "renewed interest" in Adam. Quite a valid statement, IMO, considering sufficient evidence indicating as such. :))

I haven't seen anything about the Classic Rock Awards except for what has been posted here. I haven't seen anything in my normal internet travels.

Also two or three days from a minor award seems rather hopeful. I could see it if it was after a major award with tons of coverage. But not this. Not trying to minimize the award, just being realistic.

Adam obviously has enough money to buy a Bentley or maybe he's leasing it. However much money he has is his business alone.
