Won't bet the farm, but didn't Idol just get a boat load of press having Adam sit in for Keith. Maybe I'm not seeing it as I don't follow Idol, but this seemed over the top.

There's always a lot of press when Idol is starting a new season, however, I feel Idol is definitely cashing in on Adam's popularity. They know all about the power of the Glamberts and the tour with Queen, and Adam's new album in the works, just adds to Adam being the natural fill-in host on Idol. The fact that Adam has been on Idol every year since 2009 shows Adam's popularity with the Idol producers and staff in general. If every Adam fan is as excited as I am about Adam being on Idol, that's a lot of people who just may tune in to watch who might not have otherwise. In short, I totally agree with The Dark Side. It's over the top and I love it!
Since the tour with Queen and how successful it was, Adam is a HOT commodity now. I think a few more things will come his way, which is why it is so important for him to get his album out. Don't want to hurry him, because you cannot hurry an artist. But he does need to finish it before Queen calls him again, in early 2015.
Idol's riding on the coat tails of Adam, more precisely on the huge success of the QAL tour.... some might say...
Yes that album needs to be out like NOW! To make the most of the QAL buzz., also whatever the AI gig stirs up.
Adam's looking so comfortable and just exuding sweetypie-ness.
