Concert review Atlantic City, New Jersy:

"Queen + Adam Lambert a thrilling combo"

From AccessAtlanta.com

EXCERPTS: From the longer article

"ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – It’s a shame that the Queen + Adam Lambert tour bypassed Atlanta on its quick, 24-date jaunt this summer."

"And they had to name it the “Once in a Lifetime Tour” to add insult to injury, right?"

[Queen + Adam Lambert] "popped into Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City to show the Jersey Shore why this is the most special post-Freddie Mercury presentation yet."

"That is thanks to Adam Lambert........"

"Lambert is the perfect man for a slot that can never - and should never – be duplicated."

"While he brings plenty of Mercury’s pomp, Lambert also brings a shade of darkness that fits well with a band that is aging gracefully."

"..it’s impossible not to be captivated by Lambert..."

Love Killer Queen
but I too think he should spray the audience with champagne rather then spit it out

Blu, he is spitting water. They'd need to get cheaper champagne if he was spraying the bottle on the audience every night.

Oh I kinda thought it was water

Wonder what the author meant by "Lambert also brings a shade of darkness"? Is she referencing "50 Shades of Grey"? If so, yes, I agree whole-heartedly!!!

I agree that the spouting or spitting was a sour note. It's the one moment in the 2 hours I regretted. Camp is fine, it's a campy song, spitting is juvenile.....much as I admire Adam, that wasn't amusing to me.
