Exciting Stuff! Great mention.

OFF-TOPIC (WAAAAY OFF, for JAK)

Hello JAK. This is your reminder of your 8th grade bestie (and co-tromper through Europe in your 30's & 40's) here. I never did make it back to that thread to post my apology to YOU. This is the first time I've waded into a comments section at length (because there is no length here yet, lol) since the other day, and I thought I could post in this thread near the top enough such that you would see it. I am rushing out the door, but wanted to say, about that thing the other day, that I am sorry for even chiming in on what was sort of a personal matter in the first place. You'll know what I mean :). I have been known to post on comments that, to paraphrase what you said in that thread, light my fuse... but only when they, the comments, light my fuse or rub me the wrong way in regard to something ADAM related. That matter, the other day, that didn't sit right with me was really NOT Adam related at all, so I am sorry for even chiming in on the whole notion to begin with. My apologies to you. And thanks for your comments there, at the end of that thread. There is little more impressive to me in this world than someone who can take a critique and absorb it, digest it, and take something positive away from it. You are a real gem, very evolved, it seems, through cyberspace :). Anyway, I haven't read through many comments sections the past day or so, but I was new enough on this thread such that I thought you'd see this post. Hope so. Take Care.

So thrilled to see the article from RS about the Queenbert tour. Great accolades for Adam. Hope LOTS of people take note of this and give Adam the attention and praise he deserves!

Gosh, I almost hate to utter the words American Idol in this thread with such great news, such a great nod to the summer tour, but I love how the RS article said: Flashback to the last WATCHABLE season of AI. (they didn't use caps btw :)). Adam is so far beyond AI, I know, but that was so well put. Sure there's been good shows here and there, but AI8 was the last watchable season imho too. Well, doesn't matter! Just an observation, after reading the RS tidbit. Awesome PR!

Can't wait for the concerts to begin. What songs are you all hoping for? I'm hoping for "Who Wants to Live Forever."

I am hoping for only one really, Dragon Attack, but I'll take what I can get! I mean, really, is there any fear that there'll be a bad one in the bunch? I'm thinking NO. :)

Note to: Rolling Stone......many thanks...you have 'buttered my bread'....

I'm not real sure what that means, except I know 'in the olden days' it was said when you wanted to express your admiration and appreciation for a kind act........JAK

@ 10:41 AM...JAK here....I accept your gracious apology. You are indeed a gentleman/gentlewoman (I assume).
My fuse gets lit frequently and if I reply in heat, I generally go a little overboard (I'm only human). But if I re-read and think I've been a bit of an ass, I don't mind 'fessin up'.....
As always, nice chatting with you!

Nice! I just hope he won't sing all of his ass off. Lol.

@12:08 PM We will all have to keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't happen. Or split his pants. oh, wait the split will be ok

And, Rolling Stone uses ANOTHER excellent shot of Adam and Brian for this great
article.

"the last watchable season of AI"... ha, and I thought WE were biased! Rolling Stone has been a good friend to Adam. Love that they love him.

#29 out of 40. God I hope they weren't going in the order of most exciting to least exciting. Most of those that precede them are not great acts. Hmm...interesting. I know I would've put them at the #1 to see.

I agree with the RS comment about S8 being the last watchable AI.

@2:20 PM They are in alphabetical order.

I read all of the RS recommendations for each one of the 40 tours, and Queen and AL's is the most positively glowing of all. I'm not biased. Go see for yourself. Even their photo is the most smashing. Then, go read the comments. Which tour drew the most excited comments of the 36 (only one negative from a critic of Adam)? The "Hottest" tour of the summer!!! No contest.

I also agree with RS that season 8 of Idol was the last watchable one. The contestants this season are just uninteresting and lackluster in their performances and stage presence. Although tonight Jena was the best and has the most potential along with Caleb to be the winner. But I still haven't voted for any of them and Adam was the only contestant I ever voted for and could not wait to see perform each week. The Queen and Adam Lambert concert tour is probably the most anticipated one of the summer. Many of the venues seem to be close to sell out and extra dates were added. I hope Adam makes some guest appearances on a few of the talk shows to promote the concerts and of course, I just want to see him as he prepares for these special concerts. It is going to be a hot summer and I am not just talking about the weather.

"Dragon Attack" I listen to this over and over from Kiev! I love to watch him sing this too. His moves and nuances are amazing...

Radio Ga Ga is my absolute fave Queen song and Bohemian Rhapsody is biting at its heels. GO QUEEN + ADAM!!

Who Wants to Live Forever is my favorite Queen song that Adam performed. He blew the roof off that stage in Vegas at the iheartradio show when he sang it, turned and looked at the audience with that "I just showed you look" and then walked off the stage. I can watch that vid over and over. And Adam looked so handsome and sexy too.

I thought the "I just showed you look" broke the spell cast by the emotion and beauty of the vocal. I didn't care for it.
