Bali!

Indonesian Glambertsþ@AdamLambert_INA
And then as I expected, I think Adam had enough of the bullshit well-behaved-manner from "audience". You dont come to his show to sit nicely

So he told us there's space to dance in front of stage. He want us to dance & come closer. We just run to front. I was right in front of him

The organizer prohibited us from going to the stage, but then he invited us "fans" there. When we were told to sit down, he said "fuck it"

When security bit rough to a girl fan at the stage, he said "Hei, no! That's OK!" Then he held that girls hand and talked to her sweetly

Bali!

A girl jumped on stage last night, hug Adam. Security tried to get her off him but she held strongly. Adam just said OMG#badgirl>_<

MANUELA ALEGRIAþ@mmalegria
In this post morning show, all I can say Adam was brilliant. He sang great and was happy, sexy, funny. Sad a few people stay seat, not dancing. But the fans was in more number. And we clap, scream, dance, sing all show.I think Adam loved us. He wanted we stay in the front and the people from the hotel didnt like it but Adam didnt care. He wanted party people not boring people. So, the show was great *\o/*

ADAM LAMBERT: Singer’s Bali Concert A Night To Remember
I am not really an avid TV fan and can go weeks without the need to search for the perpetually missing remote.
Among the programs I avoid are the talent shows such as American Idol and The X Factor.
On New Year’s Eve, Bali’s newest premier resort, the extravagant Mulia Resort and Villas in Nusa Dua, hosted another similarly successful and extraordinarily popular contestant from the American Idol series.

The hotel’s first New Year’s Eve celebration featured the delightful, energetic and enigmatic ADAM LAMBERT, and I, along with around 400 other guests, was lucky enough to witness a thrilling performance that ushered us happily into 2013.
Not since the closing of the last millennium had I more eagerly anticipated any New Years Eve’s celebration with the music world’s hottest property strutting his sexually charged stuff in what was bound to be a kick butt party atmosphere.

Lambert is a self-confessed attention junkie, but he is far more than just a mannequin as he well showed us; boy, he can sing and dance.
It’s quite a difficult voice to describe; like his talent it has a vast range and depth, but perhaps most impressive is how easily and completely he shifts and lives his different stage personas.
Some, perhaps fairly, have likened him to Freddie Mercury, and indeed he toured with Queen only last year taking adulation and rave reviews.
I actually think he presents a lot more soul in his music, a touch of George Michael with attitude but with Freddie’s aura and ability to supercharge the watcher.

He compliments his own quite massive stage presence with a group of musicians, dancers and vocalists that together create a fusion of funk and electro pop, but often with driving guitar solos and rock bass lines.
The dancers provided great theater, the interaction with each other and the crowd was fabulous and contagious as table after sober table quickly joined the party.
The ever-present backing singers, with hilarious wig and clothing changes carried out on stage, took us from Motown to Ziggy Stardust and back to 2013.
Lambert and his band blazed through the set, costume changes accompanied changes in style as they frantically led us toward the New Year and beyond.

After two songs the seating plan was thrown into disarray as Lambert called on the “Glamberts” (his diehard fans) to join him at the front to dance.
A huge number of people did just that and the New Year’s party was well underway.
As the clock struck midnight, Lambert screamed for anyone who knew the words to “Auld Lang Syne”.
One of the front row Glamberts, Elaine from Scotland, obliged and will no doubt remember forever joining Lambert in welcoming 2013 with true style.
With the midnight hour gone and the rapturous applause still ringing, the band launched into a set of raunchy covers, including a superb funk interpretation of the classic Lenny Kravitz rock song “Are You Gonna Go My Way”.
The result was an ever more crowded dance floor jumping as one.
This was no ordinary gig, it was pure theater dressed in leather and glitter, and we loved every inch of it.
Sadly, after just under two fun-packed hours, the party just had to end.
Chanting fans had brought the band back for the encore, but the spell was broken as the road crew took us to the point of no return by turning up the lights.

I for one will remember Dec. 31, 2012, as one of the best nights of entertainment I have seen in years, the night the extravagant met the extraordinary in Nusa Dua.
I really hope to see Lambert again later this year in Jakarta, and, just perhaps, for my New Year’s resolution I might even agree to watch an episode or two of American Idol.

Highly amused that this year's scandal is ADAM sees a movie, instead of goes to jail, punches hole in ceiling, or smokes weed onstage. LMAO!

It's time we moved on from the Les Miserables singing. Enough is enough and it's become mighty boring, unlike these pics and videos of Adam in Vietnam which are great.

Good to read a review of the Bali concert from someone who was actually there. So often we read something that is totally untrue or only part of the story. We also only see certain vids and not an entire concert. I love the part about the girl jumping on the stage and security trying to get her off, but Adam comforted her. And how could you go to a concert and not want to dance esp. to Adam's upbeat, funky songs. There may have been older, more sedate people in the audience, but there were fans there who wanted to have a good time because it was a New year's eve celebration. Vietnam fans are just as crazy for Adam as they are in other parts of the globe. He is truly an international superstar which America has failed to recognize and support. Maybe with a third album, radio will finally find a song(s) that they will play. I certainly hope so.

So glad Adam got the audience up and dancing near the stage. The heck with security. It was a relatively small audience. Looks like they all had a great time.
After reading the review of the show and seeing a few videos, I think we can agree that this was a REALLY GOOD show. I think some of us pick apart each performance to death when we don't know the whole vibe of the show. This show was a great success. Now, on to Vietnam! The crowd at the VN airport really gave them a huge welcome!

As for the Les Miz thing, I think the issue is over. More people will go see it now, due to Adam's comments. The comments under the article were mostly supportive of Adam. I always laugh at the few dopes who say that Adam can't sing. Guess these people were born without ears.

@DRG
I don't know what article you read, but I have read quite a few 9too many), and 80% of the comments (and some articles have nearly 1000 comments) are personally insulting, with many homophobic remarks against Adam. Of the other 20% who are actually discussing the film, many agree with Adams comments.
I haven't commented, just spent a lot of time giving a thumbs up to positive comments and thumbs down to negative ones....

If people hear Russell Crowe singing in Les Miserables they will automatically know why Adam made the comments he did. Russell is a great actor but his singing is very off putting and the same with Hugh Jackman, these guys are both great actors but it should have been sweetened up as it really is distracting. I'm not blaming the actors it was Tom Hooper's idea to have the voices sound raw and they do sound very raw, in my opinion a very poor choice. No one who knows anything about music would blame Adam for being honest, he is far more astute than many give him credit for. Nice to see Russell Crowe actually agreed with him, he too was being honest.
